Educate. Empower. Elevate.

A violinist played for 45 minutes underground in a New York subway station.  During the busy morning commute, a handful of people stopped briefly to listen, a couple clapped, and a little boy, who was eager to listen, was pulled along by his mom.

The violinist raised about $30 in tips.

No one knew this at the time but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best musicians in the world. In that subway, Joshua played an incredibly intricate piece of music with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars.

Two days before he played in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out a Boston theatre, and the seats averaged about $100.

This social experiment showed that the extraordinary in an ordinary environment does not shine. Rather, it is often overlooked and undervalued.
